April 2021 one DAy retreat

Hills Art Escape – 1 Day Date | Saturday 24th April 2021 | 9am-3pm 

Enjoy the beautiful drive out into the Perth Hills arriving relaxed and ready for a barista made beverage. This retreat is being held on a peaceful 25acre bushland property away from the bustle of the city filled with local floral and fauna. The PERFECT place to create, connect and revive where you will create a beautiful mixed media artwork.

Your first session of the day is with established abstract artist Kat Ferguson who will share with your her passion for colour and get you creating in her own unique and fun way. Focusing on colour values and colour mixing to create the perfect abstract artwork.

Your second session is with award-winning Printmaker Nicola Cowie. Nicola will lead you through the process of creating a linocut print which is usable as a repeat printing block, you will learn about offset printimng and its uses in art, design and fabric printing.

Your final session is with popular Perth artist Sarah Carlton. Sarah will teach the techniques to create intuitive abstract or landscape inspired artwork using watercolour and ink and simple illustrations using Posca pens and to complete your artwork.

This one day retreat also includes a fabulous handmade morning tea and lunch plus barista made beverages.
